Zen Blues Quartet "Live" Blues.
Here is the music, in this moment...

Shunyata Records™ is proud to announce the release of the CD, "Zen Blues Quartet™", by the group of the same name.

Comprised of some of the best studio musicians in LA, it features: Steve Ferrone - drums (Tom Petty, Eric Clapton, Average White Band...), Jeff Young - keyboards, (Sting, Jackson Browne, Donald Fagen...), Tim Scott - bass and lead vocals (Jack Mack, Tower of Power, Robben Ford...) and John March - guitars. With special guests Tom Saviano - tenor sax, Steve Madaio - trumpet, 'Rev' Dave Boruff - tenor sax and Milen Kirov - keyboards. Recorded "Live" at Westlake Audio this past December, and Mastered at Capitol Records.

This CD is a fantastic snapshot, of a moment where musicians played together with passion, and a total disregard for what might happen later. We just played because we love playing music! We know--a crazy concept!!! But...

Live music with real musicians, really playing. No slick effects, no pitch correcting the vocals in Protools, just music!
